Ladder cable tray is the standard solution for heavy power cables and long spans. Side rails plus welded rungs give maximum ventilation and easy cable drops, with load classes from light duty instrumentation runs to heavy duty 6-metre spans in rated filled ratios.
A ladder cable tray consists of two longitudinal side rails joined by transverse rungs, giving it the appearance of a ladder. Because the cable support area is open, heat dissipates faster than in solid trays and cables can be dropped out at any point along the run.
YITORCH supplies ladder type cable tray in light, medium and heavy duty configurations. Rung spacing, rail height and material thickness are selected according to your cable load and span, and we provide the matching elbow, tee, cross and reducer fittings in the same gauge.
Standard stock range; custom sizes, slot patterns and hole layouts produced on request.

We produce to drawing — custom width, height, thickness, slot pattern and finish within 15–25 days.
Tell us the support spacing and cable weight; we size rail height, thickness and rung pitch accordingly instead of overselling heavy gauge.
Machine-welded rungs give consistent shear strength across the batch and survive transport handling.
The same profile can be supplied with a bolted cover for vertical risers, tunnels and areas requiring mechanical protection.
Bundles are steel-strapped and palletised to prevent deformation during long sea voyages.
Complete your cable management package with one shipment and one point of responsibility.
Not sure which type or thickness suits your load? Read the Cable Tray Buying Guide — covers type selection, finish comparison, sizing rules and international standards.
Provide the span between supports and the total cable weight per metre. We then match a rail height, thickness and rung pitch combination against NEMA VE 1 / IEC 61537 load classes and confirm the recommended class in the quotation.
Yes. For solar farms we usually suggest hot-dip galvanized or aluminium tray with 200–300 mm rung pitch, which keeps cost efficient while resisting weathering.
SS304 and SS316L ladder tray is available for food processing, offshore, desalination and chemical plants where chloride corrosion is a concern.
Ladder tray uses discrete rungs and gives the best ventilation plus the highest load capacity for heavy power cables; perforated tray has a continuous bottom and is better for smaller control and data cables.
Yes. Send the specification sheet, BOQ or drawing and we quote an equivalent or improved configuration, including cut lengths, finish and fitting set.
